Expert Sunroof Repairs for Every Vehicle
Modern vehicles increasingly feature panoramic glass roofs and sunroofs — and when they crack, leak, or stop working, you need a specialist who knows how to fix them properly. AWG Windscreens repairs and replaces all types of sunroof glass, seals, and mechanisms for cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.
Whether you have a small chip in a panoramic roof, a shattered tilt-and-slide panel, or a sunroof motor that has stopped working, our ATA-accredited technicians have the expertise and equipment to resolve it. If your front windscreen or rear glass is the issue, we cover those too.
What we repair and replace:
- Fixed panoramic glass roofs (laminated)
- Tilt-and-slide sunroof panels (toughened)
- Pop-up and electric sliding sunroofs
- Sunroof seals and weatherstrips
- Sunroof mechanisms — motors, tracks, and tilt assemblies
Two Types of Sunroof Glass
Panoramic glass roofs are bonded directly to the vehicle structure. They are almost always laminated glass, which means if cracked they hold together rather than shattering — similar to a windscreen. Replacement requires careful removal of the bonded panel and rebonding to manufacturer specifications.
Moveable sunroof panels (tilt-and-slide, pop-up, or electric sliding) are typically toughened glass. If struck by a sharp object, they will shatter into small pieces. These panels need replacing with the correct part for your vehicle, including any seals and fittings.
