ADAS & Glass Specifics
Ford Co-Pilot360
Ford vehicles feature pre-collision assist, lane-keeping system, adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, blind spot information, evasive steering assist. All of these systems rely on a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen. After replacement, the camera must be recalibrated to factory alignment — we handle this as part of every Ford replacement we carry out.
Glass specification
Ford fits standard laminated glass on Fiesta/Puma, acoustic glass on Kuga ST-Line and higher, and HUD-compatible glass on Mustang Mach-E. Ford Transit and Transit Custom have plain laminated glass with integrated sensors from 2018 onwards.
Worth knowing
Ford Transit Custom with Intelligent Speed Assist requires camera calibration after a windscreen replacement. Common issue on fleet vans.
