ADAS & Glass Specifics
BMW Driving Assistant Professional
BMW vehicles feature forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise with stop-go, blind spot monitoring. All of these systems rely on a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen. After replacement, the camera must be recalibrated to factory alignment — we handle this as part of every BMW replacement we carry out.
Glass specification
BMW widely fits acoustic laminated glass as standard and head-up display (HUD) on M, Sport and higher trim levels. Rain, light and humidity sensors are mounted behind the mirror stem. We source OE-quality acoustic and HUD-compatible glass from Pilkington and Saint-Gobain.
Worth knowing
Newer BMWs (G-series, 2019 onwards) require both static calibration and a calibration drive. We carry out both.
