ADAS & Glass Specifics
Audi Pre Sense and Adaptive Cruise Assist
Audi vehicles feature predictive efficiency assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition. All of these systems rely on a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen. After replacement, the camera must be recalibrated to factory alignment — we handle this as part of every Audi replacement we carry out.
Glass specification
Audi fits acoustic laminated glass across most of the range from A3 upwards. Higher spec and Q-SUV models add thermally-reflective coatings and HUD compatibility. Rain/light sensor and camera housing are integrated.
Worth knowing
Audi e-tron and Q8 e-tron require specific calibration procedures due to their larger windscreens and dual-camera mounting.
